The Importance of STEM on the Young Brain
When we’re growing up we explore. We ask questions. The young mind is one of curiosity. Our job is to funnel and support that curiosity. The driving mission of this site is to explore questions in our world. To look, in all aspects of the question, a step past the obvious. While this section of the website may be a blog of personal opinion, it comes from direct experience dealing with the world of STEM. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Often added to this is Art as the creative mind and creative thinking is so crucial to advancing thought in engineering, however methodical it may be. Nowhere is it more important to support the exploration of these ideas than with the young people of our world. They are the ones who will tackle the real problems in our world, and it is our job to be a part of making that change happen. Below is a collection of posts dedicated to providing perspective and help for anyone, big or small, who wants to be a part of teaching in the STEM realm. If you are interested in learning yourself, please head over to our lessons section to explore our lessons which tackle the questions surrounding us.
